Caleb Hahne Quintana is a name to know. But you already know that seeing as we covered him last year in this very column. Caleb is back with us today, exactly one week ahead of his next solo exhibition’s debut—A Boy Who Don’t Bleed at Anat Ebgi in NYC. This new body of work shares an evolution of formal qualities, where a darker palette guides the narrative of a young man protagonist exploring the mysteries of self.

A Boy Who Don’t Bleed is on view from September 5-October 18.

Name: Caleb Hahne Quintana
Mode: Painting
Homebase: Brooklyn, NY

I began this body of work in May 2024, and the direction felt right, so I followed.
